Welcome to my homepage! I work as professor-adjunto of Informatics at the School of Technology and Management, Polytechnic Institute of Beja (Escola Superior de Tecnologia e Gestão (ESTIG), Instituto Politécnico de Beja). That's where this page lives.
I teach introductory programming and I am particularly interested in visual specification languages, model-driven programming, object-oriented development, computer science education, and curriculum design.
Presently, I also have the following additional positions at the Instituto Politécnico de Beja: Pro-president for Research and Knowledge, Programme Coordinator for BSc Computer Science, and distance learning administrator at ESTIG.
I am a member of the R&D Group on Reconfigurable and Embedded Systems (GRES) at UNINOVA,
